Description:
IRCRASH has discovered some vulnerabilities in DevalCMS, which can be exploited to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and compromise a vulnerable user's system.

1) Input passed to the "currentpath" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site.

2) Input passed in HTTP headers "Referer" and "User-Agent", and e.g the "gv_folder_data" parameter to /modules/tool/hitcounter.php is not properly sanitised before being used to write data to files. This can be exploited write arbitrary data to certain files and execute arbitrary PHP code.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

These vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.4.a. Other versions may also be affected.
