Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Sun Java System Web Proxy Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) An unspecified error in the FTP subsystem can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 4.0 through 4.0.7.

2) A boundary error when processing "Vary" HTTP headers can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 4.0.7. Prior versions may also be affected.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities allow execution of arbitrary code.
