Description: Mx has reported a vulnerability in vBulletin, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the visitor messages addon when posting a new comment is not properly filtered before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerability affects all 3.7.x versions prior to version 3.7.4 PL1.
