Description: His0k4 has discovered a vulnerability in BulletProof FTP Client, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling of server names. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by tricking a user into attempting to connect to a server with an overly long name (e.g. by importing a malicious site list and then connecting to a specified server).
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.63 Build 56 and version 2009.72.0.64. Other versions may also be affected.
