Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Destiny Media Player, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
1) A boundary error exists within the processing of playlist files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via e.g. ".lst" or ".m3u" files having an overly long line.
2) A boundary error exists within the processing of ".rdl" files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an ".rdl" file having an overly long line.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.61.0 for Windows. Other versions may also be affected.
