Description

Avaya has acknowledged a security issue in various products, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information.

The security issue is caused due to weaknesses in DECT, which can be exploited to eavesdrop on phone calls.

The security issue affects the following devices:
* Base Stations RFP 32 and 34
* Cordless telephones 3701 and 3711
* Avaya Mobility Manager (ADMM)
* Base station RM617, RM717
* Handset D3


Solution
Do not rely on DECT for sensitive communication.
