Description: Justin C. Klein Keane has reported a vulnerability in the Advertisement module for Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site when the malicious advertisement is displayed.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires the "create advertisements" permission and that a user with the "administer advertisements" permission configures the module to ignore Drupal's standard input filters.
This vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 5.x-1.7 and 6.x-1.0-rc1.
