Description:
Chris Evans has reported multiple vulnerabilities in Xpdf, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to some unspecified integer overflow errors, which potentially can be exploited to execute arbitrary code when a specially crafted PDF document is viewed.

Some unspecified logic errors have also been reported, which can be exploited to cause infinite loops consuming large amounts of system resources.

Solution:
Secunia is currently not aware of an official updated version, which addresses the vulnerabilities.

However, the vulnerabilities have been fixed in various Linux distributions.
