Description: infamous41md has reported a vulnerability in GD Graphics Library, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow in the "gdImageCreateFromPngCtx()" function when processing PNG images. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PNG image in an application linked to the vulnerable library.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.0.28. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.0.32 or later.
