Description:
KDE Security Team has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in KDE, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to kfax including vulnerable libtiff code, which can be exploited via specially crafted fax files to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities affects all versions prior to 3.3.2.

NOTE: A potential privacy issue has also been reported.

Solution:
Update to version 3.3.2.
