Description:
Danny Lungstrom has reported two vulnerabilities in Pcal, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors in the "getline()" and "get_holiday()" functions when parsing calendar files. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by tricking a user into opening a malicious calendar file.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 4.7.1. Prior versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 4.8.0.
