Description:
SCO has acknowledged a vulnerability in OpenServer and UnixWare, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain knowledge of sensitive information.

For more information:
SA15348

The vulnerability affects OpenServer 5.0.7 with SMP installed and any Update Pack applied, and also UnixWare 7.1.4 and 7.1.3 with Hyper-Threading enabled (disabled by default).

Solution:
The vendor recommends disabling Hyper-Threading (see vendor advisory for more information).
