Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unchecked buffer in spoolsv.exe. This can potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary code by people or users, who can connect to the service.

According to Microsoft, this can only be exploited to cause a DoS on Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003.
