Description: Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has discovered a security issue in Note-A-Day Weblog, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The problem is that user credentials are stored in the "archive/.phpass-admin" file inside the web root. This can be exploited to disclose the administrator's encrypted password.
The security issue has been confirmed in version 2.2 and has also been reported in version 2.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Restrict web access to the "archive" directory.
Provided and/or discovered by: Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu
