Description:
rgod has reported a vulnerability in Admbook, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "X-Forwarded-For" header in the HTTP request isn't properly sanitised before being saved to the "content-data.php" file. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary PHP code into the file.

Successful exploitation requires that the "banned-ip-data.php" file is not properly configured with it's default value.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.2.2 and prior.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Provided and/or discovered by:
rgod
