CVE reference:CVE-2006-1065
CVE-2006-0959

Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in MyBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "comma" cookie parameter in "misc.php" and the "forums[]" parameter in "search.php" is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Example:
http://[victim]/search.php?action=do_search&postthread=1&author=[username]&matchusername=1&forums[]=[code]

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled (only for the "comma" parameter).

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.04. Other versions may also be affected.

2) Input passed to the "aim", "yahoo", "msn", and "website" parameters when registering for an account isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious user data is viewed via "member.php".

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.03. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
The vulnerabilities have been fixed in version 1.10.
