Description:
HP has issued an update for sendmail. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Solution:
Apply preliminary updates from FTP server.

Install revision B.11.23.01.003 or later.
Modify /etc/mail/sendmail.cf to add 'restrictqrun' to the PrivacyOptions.

HP-UX B.11.11:
Install revision B.11.11.02.004 or later.
Modify /etc/mail/sendmail.cf to add 'restrictqrun' to the PrivacyOptions.

Remove UNOF_INET31734_1.INETSVCS2-RUN, UNOF_INET31734_3.INETSVCS2-RUN, or UNOF_INET31734_4.INETSVCS2-RUN if installed.

Install PHNE_35485 or or later.

HP-UX B.11.11:
Install revision B.11.11.01.010 or later.
Modify /etc/mail/sendmail.cf to add 'restrictqrun' to the PrivacyOptions.

Install revision B.11.00.01.009 or later.
Modify /etc/mail/sendmail.cf to add 'restrictqrun' to the PrivacyOptions.

Install PHNE_35484 or later.

HP-UX B.11.00:
Remove UNOF_INET_29773_1.INETSVCS-RUN, UNOF_INET_29773_2.INETSVCS-RUN, UNOF_INET_29773_3.INETSVCS-RUN if installed.
