Description:
r0t has reported some vulnerabilities in CommuniMail, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "list_id" parameter in mailadmin.cgi and to the "form_id" parameter in templates.cgi is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
