CVE-2006-1850
CVE-2006-1851

Description:
r0t has reported multiple vulnerabilities in xFlow, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to the "position" and "id" parameters in members_only/index.cgi is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "level", "position", "id", and "action" parameters in members_only/index.cgi, and to the "page" parameter in customer_area/index.cgi is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Note that the installation path is disclosed when error messages are displayed.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 5.46.11. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
According to the vendor, the vulnerabilities have been fixed in version 6.0.

Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Provided and/or discovered by:
r0t
