Description:
Erik Sjölund has reported some vulnerabilities in abc2midi, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to various boundary errors in "drawtune.c" and "yapstree.c" when processing ABC music files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted ABC music file.

The vulnerabilities affect version 2006-04-22. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Do not process ABC music files originating from untrusted sources.
