Description:
mcdanielar has reported a vulnerability in FrontRange iHEAT, which potentially can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to iHEAT allowing a user to select and run an external application to view attachments that are uploaded by the user. This can potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary files that the user may upload onto the server that is hosting iHEAT.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions prior to 8.3.7.

Solution:
The vulnerability has reportedly been fixed in version 8.3.7.
