Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP-UX, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the kernel and can be exploited by local authorised users to cause a DoS.

The vulnerability has been reported in HP-UX B.11.00 and B.11.04.

Solution:
Apply patches.

Install PHKL_34406 or later.

HP-UX B.11.04:
Install PHKL_34940 or later.
