Description:
David "Aesthetico" Vieira-Kurz has discovered a vulnerability in Ralf Image Gallery (RIG), which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "dir_abs_src" parameter in check_entry.php, admin_album.php, admin_image.php, admin_util.php and admin_translate.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local or external resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.7 (stable), and also reported in version 0.7.4 (unstable) and 0.6.45.

Solution:
Update to version 1.0 and ensure that the "rig" directory is placed outside of the web root.

NOTE: Version 1.0 fixes only the check_entry.php script.
