| CVE reference: | CVE-2006-3919
|
|
Description: Ivan Markovic reported some vulnerabilities in SD Studio CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "page_id", "tid", and "news_id" parameters in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Since certain parts of the parameters are included in the SQL error message, this can also be exploited to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: Ivan Markovic
Changelog: 2006-08-03: Added CVE reference.
