Description:
Avaya has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in the dump, openldap, and nss_ldap packages included in various Avaya products, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and by malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive information or bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerabilities affect the following products:
* Avaya S87XX/S8500/S8300 (versions prior to CM 3.1)
* Avaya Intuity LX (all versions)
* Avaya Messaging Storage Server (all versions)

Solution:
The vendor recommends that local and network access to the affected systems should be restricted until an update is available.
