CVE-2006-4328

Description:
Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has discovered some vulnerabilities in Links Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection and script insertion attacks.

1) Input passed to the "nick" parameter in admin.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by inserting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "title", "description", and "keywords" parameters in add_url.php is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when malicious data is viewed.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in the latest version. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
