Description: A security issue has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive information or gain escalated privileges.
The security issue is caused due to an error in pkgadd, which may set insecure file permissions (755 or 777) on files and directories when installing a package with a pkgmap file containing a "?" character in the "mode" field.
