Description: James Bercegay has reported a vulnerability in Qualiteam X-Cart, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in cmpi.php and allows overwriting arbitrary variables. This can be exploited to e.g. include arbitrary files from local or external resources by overwriting certain configuration variables.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 4.1.3. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Reportedly, this has been fixed in an updated version of X-Cart.
