CVE-2006-4979

Description:
Simo64 has discovered some vulnerabilities in PHPQuiz, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "univers" parameter in score.php and the "quiz_id" parameter in home.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "path" parameter in back/upload_img.php is not properly verified before being used to copy uploaded files. This can be exploited to e.g. upload malicious PHP scripts.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and verified.
