Description: A vulnerability has been reported in IBM AIX, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is due to a unspecified boundary error in xlock. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow and allows arbitrary code execution with root privileges.
Solution: Apply Interim fixes until APARs are available.
