Description:
Avaya has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in gzip included in various Avaya products, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

* Avaya S87XX/S8500/S8300 (all versions)
* Avaya Intuity LX (all versions)
* Avaya Messaging Storage Server (all versions)
* Avaya Message Networking (all versions)
* Avaya CCS/SES (version 3.1.1)

Solution:
The vendor recommends that local and network access to the affected systems should be restricted until an update is available.
