|
|
Description: nuffsaid has reported some vulnerabilities in phpPowerCards, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to multiple parameters in db/txt.inc.php is not properly verified and sanitised before being used to write to a file. This can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerability is reported in 2.10. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified and sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: nuffsaid
Changelog: 2006-10-27: Added CVE reference.
