Description:
Evgeny Legerov has reported a vulnerability in FreeBSD, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the implementation of "/dev/crypto" and can be exploited by sending certain IOCTLs to "/dev/crypto".

The vulnerability is reported in version 6.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Fixed in CVS repository.
