Description:
boecke has discovered a vulnerability in XM Easy Personal FTP Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to improper handling of the NLST command. This can be exploited to crash the service via a specially crafted argument passed to the command or by not specifying any argument.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 5.2.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
