Description:
tarkus has discovered some vulnerabilities in b2evolution, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "app_name" parameter in _404_not_found.page.php, _410_stats_gone.page.php and _referer_spam.page.php, "baseurl" in _404_not_found.page.php and "ReqURI" in _referer_spam.page.php is not properly sanitised before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. All scripts are located in the inc/VIEW/errors directory.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.8.5. Other versions may also be affected.

Update to version 1.8.6.
