Description:
Joxean Koret has reported a vulnerability in HP FTP Print Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of arguments passed to the LIST command. This can be exploited to crash the service via an overly long string passed as argument to the vulnerable command.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 2.4 and 2.4.5. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Grant access to trusted users only.
