Description:
BlackHawk has discovered a vulnerability in OpenNewsletter, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and disclose sensitive data.

The subscribers.php and settings.php scripts do not properly restrict access to logged in users and can be exploited with an HTTP client that does not follow redirects.

Successful exploitation allows retrieval of all subscribers, the administrator username, the administrator password, and the name of the database file.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.5. Other versions may also be affected.

Update to version 2.5.1.
