Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Resco Photo Viewer, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is due to an unspecified error in the handling of PNG files and can be exploited to execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted PNG file.

Successful exploitation requires that the user is e.g. tricked into viewing a malicious PNG file.

The vulnerability is reported in version 4.11 and 6.01. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Do not open images from untrusted sources.
