Description: DPR has discovered a vulnerability in Fritz!DSL Software, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the AR7 web server. This can be exploited to read arbitrary files on the system with privileges of the web server (SYSTEM) via directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 02.02.29. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Restrict access to the service (port 49001). Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
