Description: ThE dE@Th has reported a vulnerability in xt-stats, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise vulnerable systems.
Input passed to the "server_base_dir" parameter in xt_counter.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
The vulnerability is reported in all 2.3.x and 2.4.x versions.
Solution: The project is discontinued, and the author recommends deleting all installations.
