Description:
Avaya has acknowledged a vulnerability and a security issue in Avaya CMS / IR, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive information or potentially gain escalated privileges.

The following products are affected:
* Avaya CMS V9, V11, R12, and R13/R13.1.
* Avaya IR 1.3 and 2.0 for Solaris 8 and Solaris 10.

Solution:
Apply patches.

Avaya CMS V9 and V11:
Apply Sun patch 109147-42.

Avaya CMS R12 and R13/R13.1:
Apply Sun patch 112963-29.

Avaya IR (Solaris 8):
Apply Sun patch 109147-43.

Avaya IR (Solaris 10):
No patch is currently available for Solaris 10.
