Description:
Sun has acknowledged a security issue in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions, manipulate data, and cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The security issue is caused due to an unspecified error within the Solaris 10 Loopback FileSystem (LOFS), which can be exploited by users in non-global zones to move or rename files on a LOFS that is mounted as read-only.
The security issue is reported in Sun Solaris 10 for both the x86 and SPARC platform.
Solution:
Apply patches.

Apply patch 118855-28 or later.
