| CVE reference: | CVE-2007-1524
|
|
Description: Bl0od3r has discovered a vulnerability in Zomplog, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "settings[skin]" parameter in themes/default/index.php (when "theme[options]" is set) is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.
Successful exploitation requires that the system is running PHP 5, that "register_globals" is enabled, and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.7.6. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
Provided and/or discovered by: Bl0od3r
Changelog: 2007-03-26: Added CVE reference.
