Description: qwerty1979 has reported some vulnerabilities in Asterisk, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerabilities are caused due to certain errors in the chan_sip driver when processing SIP replies from a remote system and can be exploited to crash the service via the remote system sending a SIP reply containing an invalid SIP response code in the first line of the UDP packet.
The vulnerabilities are reported in the 1.2.x branch before 1.2.18 and the 1.4.x branch before 1.4.3.
Solution: Update to version 1.4.3.
