Description: Hessam-x has discovered a vulnerability in PBLang, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise vulnerable systems.
Input passed to the form field "Name of background image" in admin2.php is not properly sanitised before being stored. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary PHP code via the quotation mark character.
Successful exploitation requires valid administrator credentials and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is set to Off.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 4.66z. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 4.67.14.c.
Provided and/or discovered by: Hessam-x
Changelog: 2007-03-29: Updated "Solution" section.
