Description: skillTube has reported a vulnerability in NaviCOPA Web Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of HTTP GET requests. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted, overly long HTTP GET request whose requested resource starts with "cgi-bin" or "cgi".
The vulnerability is reported in version 2.01 released 2006-10-06. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.01 released 2007-03-23.
