Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Java System Directory Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error related to "BER" decoding and can be exploited to cause the server to crash.

The vulnerability affects the following versions for Solaris 8, 9, and 10 on both the SPARC and the x86 platforms, Linux, Windows, HP-UX, and AIX:
