Description:
Dj7xpl has discovered a vulnerability in 1024 CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "item" parameter in includes/download.php is not properly sanitised before being used to download files. This can be exploited to download arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks beginning with some random characters that are then removed.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.7. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
