Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in bzip2, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of malformed archives and can potentially be exploited to cause a DoS.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.0.5.
