Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in sh-httpd allowing malicious people to view contents of files and directories.

The problem is that GET and POST requests containing a "*" isn't properly verified. This can be exploited to view contents of files and directories and may possibly also be exploited to execute CGI scripts outside the web root.

The vulnerability has been reported to affect versions 0.3 and 0.4.

Solution:
Use a different web server.
